Why should I use dental floss ?

Daily thorough oral care is important to protect your teeth and gums and promotes a bright white smile. Brushing your teeth with a toothbrush alone is not enough to reach all those hard to reach places where food remains settle and plaque arise. That's why you need extra help to ensure good oral health.

Wash your hands

As you put your fingers in your mouth, it is important that you wash your hands before you reach the dental floss.

Prepare dental floss

Tear off about 45 cm of dental floss. Wrap the dental floss around your middle finger and let a length of three to five centimeters in between.

Slide the dental floss between the teeth.

Use your thumb and index finger to guide the dental floss between your teeth. Drive directly along the sides of each tooth in a zigzag motion. In this way, you can better get between the gums and the teeth.

Please ensure correct handling.

Move the floss to the tip of the tooth and then back to the gum line. Repeat this up and down motion. Thoroughly clean each tooth - especially the back teeth. Always make sure to use a fresh section of dental floss for each teeth.
